A. No, I was born in Romania and Iulia is my given name. At school they call me Julie because it’s easier to pronounce. I prefer Iulia (pronounced you-lia) and I’m trying to bring it back but it’s hard because most people know me as Julie now. Turns out being Romanian doesn’t only give me dual citizenship but also dual identity.
